Nolvis X1 (Indoor/Confined Space Inspection Drone) Showcase: Shu Emoto, Terra Drone

Shu will showcase the Nolvis X1, formerly known as the Terra Xross 1, an advanced indoor and confined-space inspection drone designed to operate in difficult industrial environments such as tanks, boilers, chimneys, ships, underground mines and other confined or hazardous areas.

Shu will explain and demonstrate some of its key capabilities, including:

• LiDAR-based navigation allowing it to fly indoors without GPS
• Operation in dark, dusty and confined environments or spaces that are difficult and potentially hazardous for people to enter
• 4K inspection camera and powerful onboard lighting
• 3D LiDAR mapping and point-cloud data collection

Andrew, Senior Remote Pilot and Senior Trainer for GDS, will discuss the growing range of advanced operational approvals and capabilities, including EVLOS, BVLOS, flying over people and other approvals. He will also discuss how pilots can develop their skills beyond the RePL.
